(Mr. Linden's Library)

On a foggy evening, a young lady named Madeline was peering at some very old books that could only be checked out to the smartest and most well-known people in her town. Mr. Linden had heard tha rustling, so he decided to investigate.
"Whoa there, what are you doing in this section? You know you should'nt be here." Mr. Linden explained when he saw Madeline.
Madeline answered, "I can be in here, I just cant check out any books."
"Okay, okay." Mr.Linden murmured as he walked away.
Madeline returned to peering at the books. A few minutes later, Madeline came across an old worn out book that had the fancy, old-time writing on it. The title read Spells, A Mystifing Journey. Madeline noticed that she could not open the book, but most of all a weird engravment that looked semi-familiar. Suddenly, Madeline had a very odd flashback. She saw her mother before she died, giving Madeline an ancient pendant that was shaped like a star that was passed down for centuries by her family. Her mother had whispered, "Honey, this is the key," and quietly died. Now, five and a half years later, she finally figured out what she was talking about.
Quickly, Madeline grabbed the book, ran out of the library, down the street, and into the Victorian house her parents owned.
